These are the electric guitars I used on “Next Big Step” CD.
1969 Gibson ES-150: This guitar is probably one of the most versatile guitar I’ve ever owned. I used it on “Another Love Like This” and “The Best I Can”. She delivers sweet jazz /blues tones as well as rock-solid rhythm tones. It was made when Gibson was still at the Kalamazoo, Mich. factory.
1992 G&L Legacy: This is by far the twangyist guitar I’ve ever owned. It’s awesome for rock, blues also great for ‘chicken picking’ & slide guitar work. This Stratocaster was probably George & Leo’s greatest accomplishment. My brother Carl gave it to me back in 93’. Thanks Carl, George & Leo!
1965 Fender Esquire: I used this on 80% of “Next Big Step” I bought this guitar at Gruhens Guitar Shop in Nashville a few years ago. It has the best feel to it and fat solid tone.
